I learned the embodiment of the sabrosura in Cuba, where I immersed myself for over 15 years. Cuban women ooze this irresistible energy — the sabrosura — an unapologetic femininity every woman longs to embody.

But as a leading woman in the corporate world, I was strong — yet I struggled to lead with my softer side. I had armour on.

As someone whose emotional foundation was fractured by my mother’s mental illness, I learned early to rely on my masculine energy to feel safe and in control. I learned to shield myself from getting hurt.

It took me three decades to come back home to myself — to my body, to my feminine — without losing my power. And I watched so many competent women around me suppress this very part of themselves to succeed or protect themselves from getting hurt.

Along the way, I discovered Somatic Intelligence — the wisdom of our body — a synthesis of the embodied teachings I studied and lived through: from embodiment training in Cuba to healing through the felt-experience, to shamanic wisdom in the Peruvian Amazon, and more.

Now, I focus on high-achieving professional women who are done choosing between competence and femininity — who want to integrate the irresistible sabrosura into both their professional and personal lives.
