Have you ever experienced a moment when someone stood by you—truly, deeply stood by you—when everyone else might have walked away?
Let me share something profound that happened during our last Ayahuasca retreat where I was facilitating…
During a sacred ceremony, one of our participants was facing her deepest wound: abandonment. As she trembled in the darkness releasing her trauma, something beautiful unfolded.
Simply by staying present with her, by being her unwavering anchor, I watched her entire frequency of safety transform.
It wasn't about me trying to fix or change anything. It was about being there, fully there, giving her love and courage as she met her shadows and released her trauma from the body.
This reminds me of a truth about healing that often gets overlooked:
Sometimes, the most powerful medicine isn't in the doing— it's in the being.
For the first time, I was drinking the sacred medicine not for my own healing but to hold space for others and to be an anchor for them.

What I discovered changed everything.
✨ How our wounds can become wisdom
✨ How our presence can become power
✨ How our staying and being can become someone else’s healing
When dealing with healing—whether it's past trauma, fear of love, or blocks to abundance—what we often need isn't someone to fix us.
We need someone to feel with us and hold us. To believe in us. To stay.
As I watched these brave souls, my clients, meet their hidden parts, face their fears, and emerge transformed, I learned something crucial from Mother Ayahuasca about holding space for others:
Divine love, whether for ourselves or others, is about meeting all parts of ourselves with loving compassion. The scared parts. The wounded parts. The insecure parts. The parts that want to hide but need safe strong holding.
When we find the courage to stay present with our pain or fear, and when we have someone who believes in us enough to stay through it, we can heal deeply.
We can shift from abandonment to safety, from fear to love, from scarcity to abundance.
And isn't that what we're all seeking?
Someone who can see in us what we might not be able to see in ourselves at that moment - our higher, most beautiful self.
So today, I invite you to ask yourself:
What parts of yourself are waiting to be seen and held?

If this resonates with you and you wish for someone who walked the path before you to guide you and be your deep solid anchor as you let go and heal, then my upcoming Aya Somatic Healing Retreat in Peru (for just 10 people) could be one of the most profound transformative experiences you could ever go through.
